I have had the privilege of working with Kim and Les in the past years and as I say I am a lifer. This is just a place that I consider the friendliest most relaxed place on earth. The food is always so fresh and amazing! The quality of the homemade entree’s are legendary…..as well as the staff! I now have 3 kids and make it a point to treat them to this yummmmmy food! I came in for my usual pint and a bite to eat. I decided on the Lambert wings. The new wings are unbelievable. Their claim to be the best in town is no exaggeration. Looking over the new menu I noticed everything is fresh and not frozen. This coupled with the always friendly staff make ru serious a truly great night out. Highly recommended!!! Kevin

A few weeks ago my father, brother and I stopped in for a late lunch. I enjoyed the burger and fries, but the reason I wrote this review was because my father who hates restaurants ordered the fish and chips. I have never seen my father enjoy a restaurant meal with such pleasure as this one. It was actually funny to see him eat everything on his plate. After leaving he talked all the way home about how much he enjoyed his meal.The waitress- bar tender was pleasant and very professional. I will be returning and have recommended RUSerious to many people. So has my father and that is saying something. Thank you. Silvana

Well what can I say. My friends and I went to your bar. Tuesday Aug 1. Ordered wings. Fanatic flavours. Great value for money. Can highly reccomed this bar / resturant. After hearing about RU for some time, it was time to pay a visit. OUTSTANDING! The wings were the best I’ve had in a long time. My wife had the chicken wrap and said the same. Great service and fun atmosphere. We have family in Guelph and often come to visit, now I know where to get my wings. We come to Guelph every 2 months or so, & always end up @ chain restaurants. Deciding to try something different this time we googled restaurants near Costco and R U Serious popped up.We decided to give it a shot based on the reviews and we are so happy that we did.The service (guywithblondeponytail) was so laidback & friendly, and the food was delicious.We will definitely recommend it to others! These two, Kim and Les, they are the sweetest and kindest and caring-est. The reputation supersedes them. These women who care not only about their business but truly care about the patrons. In this time of closures and uncertainty, they reach out, help and provide in any capacity they can. While they too face uncertainty, they are helping others and are reaching out to others. I don’t know where to start but if you are looking for great food and amazing service you need to head to RU! And if you love wings then you won’t find anywhere better. They are worth the drive, no matter where you are from. They are cooked to perfection every time. And their take out containers are amazing so even when you get home, your wings are still perfect, even a couple of hours later (if you can wait that long!!). Even the next day, cold from the fridge, they’re still amazing. I can’t recommend them enough! Do yourself a favour and order some today. You won’t be sorry! I was invited out for lunch with a supplier from where I used to work. Due to Covid my retirement meal was postponed. Finally my friend and I got together for wings and a few beers. As always the staff at the bar came through. My friend was very impressed with the service and food. He stated I have found a place to bring my customers, for great food beer. . Just wanted to let you know that we get a take-out orders from your restaurant just about every week, usually fish & chips,,,, popcorn shrimp and fries and usually gravy. even tried your burger once. My daughter picks the order up Friday after she gets off work. The food is great. But there is only one thing missing on your menu.. that is fried clams or fried clam strips . What can I say. March 29 2020.my wife and I were booked on a vacation to Cuba to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. That got cancelled due to the Covid outbreak. So hey let's celibate it at our favourite bar. That was closed due to Covid. This year we were able to celibate our 46th anniversary in the bar. Fantastic receiption from the patrons in the bar when we entered the bar. Flowers and gifts on a table for us. What Cani say the owners and staff. I went to this establishment for the first time this past Friday (March25,2022). Upon walking in, it was a small but cozy atmosphere, and completely packed. One of the owners quickly found the 3 of us a seat, brought us drinks as we looked over the menu. By far one of the best hamburgers I've ever had (you can ask my co-workers who have had to listen to me describe it multiple times since), and I frequent burger joints often. There was so much food on the plate it was a struggle to finish, but I didn't want any to go to waste! It was easy to tell there were lots of locals who frequent this place as the climate was very friendly. If you want great food, and lots of it at a Very reasonable price - this is the place!! Peter

Being newer to Guelph, we were advised that you guys had the best chicken wings! My parents love chicken wings so we came for Fathers Day! It was super busy and we were able to get a table. Dave was the only one working the front and managing the bar, every table + every order. He was so very kind and attentive and we appreciated his fantastic customer service! We will be back! 1st time I went to RU serious, was when the restaurant was in the Willow West mall in 2010. I used to go at least 3 times a week because I couldn't get away from those nice fries. Recently I started attending again at the new location and tried their burgers and fries. They are amazing and delicious. The staff is out of this world.. I will keep coming back. Don Prudhomme

My friend and I needed a place to go and decided on RU Serious because (1) we anticipated that it would be a fun and casual atmosphere (2) I drink alcohol free beer and called for confirm that they had Heineken 0 in stock. I have to say that our experience exceeded my expectations. We are busy moms that rarely ever go out. I had been to RU Serious 3 or 4 times during the day and enjoyed the pub feel. I sadly didn’t get the server/bartender’s name. He waited on our family one time before and was awesome then, also. He was great. So friendly, so professional and 100% respectful while making the experience that much better. It’s people that make the difference. I had come straight from the barn (literally), looking and feeling a mess- but our Friday night visit to RU Serious left a lasting impression, and i know we will be back. Thanks for a great time.
